Agitation
- Type: bottom-lateral magnetic mixer, for high-performance aseptic mixing.
- Drive: AC motor with variable frequency drive (VFD) for precise speed control.
- Benefits: zero risk of cross-contamination, no mechanical seals, ideal for CIP/SIP.

Thermal control (jacket)
- Design: fully integrated heating and cooling jacket on the cylindrical section.
- Insulation: high-density insulation with welded AISI 304 stainless steel cladding.
- Automation: on-board automated temperature management via PLC and modulating valves.

Top dish connections
- CIP/SIP: dedicated sanitary spray balls and steam lines.
- Valves: manual diaphragm valves or automated pneumatic valves with feedback.
- Safety: certified overpressure bursting disc, 4 barg as standard.
- Instrumentation: electronic pressure transmitter and Pt100 temperature probe for sterilization control.

Shell and bottom
- Visual inspection: round sight glass with integrated LED light at 50% tank height.
- Outlet: zero dead-leg bottom diaphragm valve, manual or pneumatic.
- Process ports: 4 Ingold connections for sterile probes — Pt100 temperature, pH and two optional ports, e.g. conductivity or pO₂.
- Weighing: 4 high-precision load cells under the support legs, for continuous weight monitoring, filling and mass balance.

Materials and finishes
- Product contact parts: AISI 316L stainless steel.
- Non-contact parts and skid: AISI 304 stainless steel.
- Internal finish: mirror polished, Ra ≤ 0.4 µm; electropolishing on request.
- External finish: Scotch-Brite satin.
- Gaskets and seals: EPDM / PTFE, compliant with FDA and USP Class VI.

- Transfer pump: integrated sanitary pump on the skid, for direct delivery to the bioreactor.
