Mini bioreactors for cell culture and microbiology
An ultra-compact dual-vessel controller that runs two bioreactors fully independently and brings every cultivation utility into one space-saving rack — 350 mL to 2 L total volume per vessel.
The controller, front and back
Process probes
Connectors for the pH, dissolved oxygen and temperature probes: up to 6 Hamilton Arc probes per vessel, with calibration data stored in the sensor.
MODBUS 485 / 4–20 mA
Two MODBUS 485 / 4–20 mA connectors for external sensors and instruments.
Peristaltic pumps
Four pumps per vessel: 0.01 to 50 mL/min, variable speed, automatic calibration and reversible flow.
Mixer
Mixer connector for each vessel: brushless motor with Modbus drive, 1 to 1,250 rpm.
Sparger, overlay and gas analysis
For each vessel, sparger and overlay outlets for the gas mix regulated by up to 8 thermal MFCs, and a GA connection for gas analysis.
Side B
Side B repeats the probes, pumps, mixer and gas lines: the two vessels are controlled fully independently.
Fans
Two fans ventilating the controller.
Ethernet and USB
For each vessel (A and B), an Ethernet port and a USB port.
Chiller and scale
For each vessel, one connector for the chiller and one for the scale.
Gas inlets
Inlets for air, O₂, CO₂ and N₂; other process gases on request.
Gas analysis
GA-OUT outlet to the gas analyzer.
Power supply
Inlet with switch: 220–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz (EU) or 110–120 V AC, 60 Hz (USA and Canada), with internal overcurrent protection.
