Biobook Twin
Two vessels, fully independent control. The Biobook Twin brings parallel process development to the bench: two 0.5–30 L vessels with independent temperature, agitation, gas and pumps, and Bioflex™ SCADA software networking up to 24 reactors.
Overview
The Biobook Twin is a high-performance, configurable bioreactor system engineered for cell culture and microbial fermentation in research, process development, and GMP pilot-scale environments. Its modular stainless-steel design allows scalability from single to dual (twin) vessel configurations with fully independent control. The system integrates high-precision sensors, robust process automation, and Bioflex™ SCADA software for complete traceability, reliability, and compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 and GMP standards.

Frequently asked questions
The Twin has two independent vessels instead of one, with fully separate temperature, agitation, gas and pump control per vessel. Same width and depth as the Compact but double the height (540 mm vs 270 mm) and nearly double the weight (51 kg vs 25.2 kg).
Yes. The two vessels are fully independently controlled — temperature, agitation, gas, pumps and sensors — making the Twin ideal for A/B comparative studies or parallel process development.
Up to 24 bioreactors, independent or linked, via Ethernet or OPC network, with synchronized data logging across all units — double the Biobook Compact standalone limit (12).
The same range as the Biobook Compact: autoclavable glass (0.5–15 L), autoclavable stainless steel (3–30 L), and single-use polycarbonate (0.5–10 L), independently mountable on each of the two vessels.
